Well here we are, about to approach our moment of triumph. We have done some really remarkable work and the first thing is to share your new ecstatic experience of your creative process with your family and friends , of course if they still remember you while you've been hiding all that time. A compact crowd around your monitor enchantedly whispering- WOW should fill your heart with a feeling of proudness and achievement! And rightly so!

Now we need to find our smiley a home - we need a host, virtual space on the internet. It could be done in a number of ways:

    - most internet providers give a small amount of webspace to their customers . Contact your provider to find out how to activate and use it.

    - there are a number of smiley collectors out there who already have a website and let visitors add custom-made smilies to their collection and, most importantly, allow hotlinking to their images. Unfortunatlly, I don't know any english-speaking one's, but if they exist - you'll find them on Google.

    - find a forum or web-diary place, where it is permitted to upload pictures from a user's computer and post it there.

    - you could add it to EmotiPad. That programm simplifies the whole process of using Emoticons by cataloguing them into your own personal library, and then lets you 'Drag & Drop' them directly into your Web Browser, Email Client or any other application supporting images.

    - sell it to some excessively rich odd fellow and let him worry about it.

However, as soon as you get the hang of this, the rest will be quite simple: right click on the located internet smiley, from the context menu select "properties", copy the URL and paste it anywhere such as forums, messageboards, chatrooms etc You will need to know the code for showing images on message boards but it is usually .

Have fun.
